DEALERS CHOICE
FEBRUARY 16, 2017 - JULY 16, 2017

Nina Chanel Abney: Dealer’s Choice is the first solo museum exhibition of Chicago-born artist Nina Chanel Abney (b. 1982), and a 10-year survey of the artist’s provocative paintings, watercolors and collages. Unapologetically revitalizing narrative figure painting, Abney has been branded as one of the “Next Irascibles” by Paper Magazine.

The exhibition is organized by Marshall N. Price, Nancy Hanks Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art. A comprehensive, fully-illustrated hardcover catalogue with critical essays will be published by the Nasher Museum and distributed by Duke University Press.
